Try website monitoring software to check your web hosting company
Internet Service providers that host web sites often advertise a 99 percent up time but I’ve found that few of them actually deliver on that promise. After several frustrating experiences with my current ISP I decided to use some website monitoring software to check the performance of my web hosting company. I found that I was only getting about 87 percent up time and on many occasions the server response was very slow which can cause visitors to leave before they view your web page. The software has been very helpful in convincing me to find a new web hosting company.
