She Actually Agreed to It

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

When my wife told me that she would let me buy a table tennis set up for our house, I was so excited.  She told me that she just wanted me to read through a table tennis equipment review so I could get an idea of what exactly to buy, but the truth was that I had already been reading a bunch of reviews, and had already put some of the equipment on layaway.  I was putting off asking her because I thought that she would probably say “No.”, but it all worked out.  I was so so happy that she agreed to it.

Injury Can’t Heal Soon Enough For Mother of Injured Son

Friday, February 12th, 2010

My son broke his foot last week in a skiing accident and now he’s housebound. It’s a pathetic site to see. He sits there all day long watching live web cams of skiing events, reading snowboard reviews and surfing skiing and snowboarding sites. I am tempted to pull the plug on the computer. I just want to see him pick up a book or at this point, even television looks like a good option. I just know it’s going to be a long six weeks with him moping around like this. Oh, I just thought, he’s got to go through physical therapy after this! Oh goodness.

What Are Some Special Uses of Spyderco Knives?

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

Spyderco knives have special abilities which common knifes don’t have. These knives are built uniquely and with great form. The form isn’t just for show, it serves a purpose and that is ergonomics. The knives are designed in such a way where the user can achieve full comfort and efficiency in its usage. The special uses of these knifes is that they can be used for defense and also for surviving in the forest. It’s great for soldiers and campers who can use these knives to cut through branches, make rope work, and slice through animal skin with great ease because of its super-sharp blades and comfortable handles.

Golf putting aid makes the cut

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

I am a serous golfer. Sometimes my wife tells me I am too serious about the game. The fact is, is that I would love to play golf professionally. I can drive the ball over three hundred yards, it my short game that in the past, has given me trouble. My wife for my birthday gave me a putting aid last month and it has helped me immensely. I recently made the cut in a local tournament and I believe my game has a chance to take me to the next level. If I continue to improve at this rate, I may be on the tour before you know it.

cold feeling

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

Defeat is a cold feeling that i know only too well. Last year i went in about seven grappling tournament hosted by BJJ Cronulla club. I’m not a member of there club but i do attend the competitions with my team from gym. So in the competitions this year i did very poorly. I lacked the strength and fitness, the explosiveness, the heart and the skill to compete with the big boys and because of that i lost every match. Wrestling is a game of skill and strength but also of strategy and smarts. I think this year i didn’t have any of those and that’s why i tasted that cold feeling of defeat often.

A Great Plan for Beginner Triathlon Training

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

There are a lot of people that want to get off the couch and get started in the world of triathlons but it isn’t easy for most to do so. It would be a good idea for people to build up a base level of fitness by getting involved with a beginner triathlon training program. This will help them to start slowly. For instance, they will start by walking short distances before they ever start to jog or ever run. It will eventually make them ready to participate in their first triathlon and hopefully that will motivate them to keep doing them.

Martial arts and my cousin

Friday, February 5th, 2010

My cousin and I have a weird relationship. He never visits me and then out of the blue he will bring his whole family around. I don’t know what motivates him but he is very strange. One year he did not speak to me for six months and then out of the blue he bought me a lifetime membership to bjj training in canberra. That would have cost him as much money as car. I was thankful for the gift but I am worried that my cousin makes some very poor decisions. He does kickboxing at that club so maybe he has taken one to many blows to the head. He has been doing it for three years. I think its time he stopped martial arts training.

Which Will Rule

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

A friend and I went shopping for Paintball Barrels last week. We wound up each picking out a different barrel. I wanted a very long and heavy barrel for mu gun. It is 14 inches long and made out of stainless steel. Even if it doesn’t help me shoot, it looks great! My friend decided he wanted to see what happens if he spins the paintball. He chose a very small 7 inch barrel with an inside that looks like a corkscrew. Today we are going to play paintball. This will tell us who made the better purchase. Of course, I already know I did.
