Just like shelves, many people are starting to see shutters as a concept that tends to be in just about every home. In the seventies drapes and curtains were just about everywhere and to this day many homes still have and use them, but shutters are more prevalent than drapes in most homes. Shutters are more efficient with privacy and allowing you to turn them up so you can both get privacy and let light in at the same time, something curtains don’t do easily. The only question to ask is what type of shutters do you have and do you want to update them to something better. Many homes come with shutters but you can always update them to wood or whatever strikes your fancy!
